All of the furniture in the house, with the exception of a couple of pieces, comes from Pittsburgh, PA. Jessie (co-owner and our venue manager) grew up going back and forth to Pittsburgh to visit her grandparents. The year Twisty Maple began was also the year Jessie’s family sold her grandparents home in Pittsburgh, and that meant finding a new home for all of their beautiful furniture and trinkets they had collected over the years. What better place than the Twisty Maple house where so many can enjoy them!

We love telling folks how much Jessie’s grandmother enjoyed hosting parties and how thrilled she would be that her furniture, artwork, and decor is being used to celebrate so many happy couples! Her way of welcoming folks into her home is one we hope to carry forward, offering that same feeling of warmth to each couple, family, and friend group that comes to stay with us.
